What is Brain Builders?

Brain Builders is free, online, in person and offers moms/caregivers 6 weekly, 1.5-hour meet-ups hosted by professionally trained Brain Builders facilitators. Our program is open to women 18 and older who are pregnant or moms/caregivers to children three years old or younger. Each meet-up centers around a specific topic and gives moms/caregivers a chance to connect, share life experiences, and form new friendships. Brain Builders moms report feeling less stressed, more supported, and more knowledgeable about and confident in their parenting skills. They also made new friends and felt less isolated and alone.

Why Brain Builders?

Did you know that the first three years of a child’s life are the most important for their brain development? This peak period of brain building sets us up for optimal health, well-being, and the ability to bounce back from hardships. Many families in our communities don’t know the importance of these early years. Parents also may not know that they can make a lasting difference in their child’s future through simple responsive interactions with their infants and toddlers. At Brain Builders, it’s our mission to help change that. We strive to spread knowledge and support skills that help kids and their families to flourish.

Brain Builders Schedule

Meet-ups are 1.5 hours a week for 6 weeks at the same day and time. Interested moms can register for meet-ups in English or Spanish.
